MakeMeSomethingSpecial specialise in personalised wooden gifts but on occasion have also been asked to put our creative minds to the art of bespoke wooden furniture making.

We've been doing this for several years and have built up quite a portfolio of bespoke works and commissions by our customers. Apart from our engraved wooden toy boxes and ottomans, which can be classed as furniture, we have turned our hands to custom made bespoke kitchens, bathroom sink units, butcher's block islands, TV cabinets, handmade dining tables, carved coffee tables, book cases, draw units, bedside tables, chests of drawers, side tables and many other interesting and unique pieces.

Our bespoke furniture is created using our stunning locally sourced oak and Amish American Hardwoods. The finish and attention to detail is exquisite. We will be happy to quote for any manner of bespoke wooden furniture such as bespoke wooden tables that you'd like making.

I ordered a massive live edge chopping board from Make Me Something Special which arrived today. My husband had been looking at different boards for quite some time and never quite found exactly what he wanted until we found MMSS. I have been looking for a large carving board with channels and a well to catch the meat juices for ages and came across MMSS. I spoke to Ben by phone a week before Christmas and we agreed the design. I assumed delivery would be after Christmas but no Ben assured me I would be carving the turkey on it this year. True to his word the board arrived on Christmas Eve. Ben also suggested an upgrade to dark walnut which I'm really pleased with. The board is exactly as I wanted it and looks stunning the finish is superb. I thought it may look slightly worse for wear after battling with the Turkey but once washed which was easy and re-oiled the board looks as good as the day it arrived. So thank you for great service and a fantastic product.

Really helpful staff and very easy ordering process. We wanted a bespoke board for a wedding cake which could double up as a cheese board later at the wedding party. The result was also a beautiful personalised keepsake, we were all thrilled with it.
