How long will my order take to be made and delivered?

All of our delivery times are an estimate and not a guarantee.

Standard orders –  3-5 working days

Bespoke orders – 7-10 working days

If your order is going to take longer we will advise you at the time of purchase or soon after. If you require your order to be delivered sooner than the delivery times specified, please let us know at the time you place your order. We will do whatever we can to meet your requirements.

Do you ship Overseas?

Yes. We ask that any orders coming outside of England, Wales and Scotland, the customer needs to contact us first in order to get a delivery quote. This will also stop any delays in your order being made. We must stress that these orders once they have left our workshop, the timings are out of our control. Delays with customs and weather etc are out of our control.

How do I pay for my order?

We accept all major Debit and Credit Cards, PayPal and Cheques.

Please note that you do not have to have a PayPal account to pay by this method. If paying by Credit Card, MasterCard or Amex, there will be a 2% additional charge. All Cheques must be cleared before any order is made and delivered. 

Are spaces considered as part of the character allowance ?

No. Spaces and punctuation have already been taken into account when we give you the character allowance. In some circumstances we can adjust the spacing to fit your inscription. ”The Beauty of Bespoke”

What do I do if there’s a mistake in the inscription?

This should not happen because we confirm with you all spellings and arrangements. If, in the very unlikely event that this happens, please contact us immediately on : 01252 703 196 or [email protected] and we will resolve this problem.

Will my product move?

The simple answer is – not a lot. There are two factors that come into play when make products from timber.

1) Make sure the timber is well dried before you start. All of our timber is dried to around 7% moisture content, this is the correct measurement to begin manufacture.

2) We give our products a really good oiling. This is key factor against movement. A lot of makers will admit to giving their products 1 – 2 coats of oil. This is not enough! Timber oil companies will tell you that a minimum of 3 – 4 coats is required for timber protection and that is exactly what we do. In some cases, like our Draining Boards and Carving Boards, which are subjected to the most moisture abuse, we will use 7 – 10 coats  for Maximum protection.

My item is a different colour or size to the ones on your website what should I do?

Wood is a natural product and no two pieces of wood are identical. The colour and grain will differ with every product. All sizes stated in the product information are approximate, but we try our best to make sure we are as close to the stated size as possible.

How do I place an order if I live outside of the UK?

Please contact us on: 01252 703196 or contact us for a quote on delivery fees and timings. Please note, we can not quote for Customs and Taxes and delivery times will be longer than those stated for the UK.
