Needed a sign making reasonably urgently for a new pavilion being opened for one of our members who had passed away. I contacted Make Me Something Special who initially went through the possibilities and then obliged with my choice of design, delivery was of the essence for the opening and they once again proved to be reliable on their word, myself, the members, and especially his wife who performed the opening were all impressed with the quality of the sign.

This company have been amazing to deal with. I had loads of annoying questions, requests and generally mithered them throughout the whole process 😆. I dealt with Kenneth and Ben and they were patient, polite and very responsive. We got there in the end with my requests and the result was just what I asked for. Thankyou to the whole MMSS team.

The plaques made for my husbands memorial were excellent. The engraving onto oak was beautifully done and deep so will not quickly be worn away by the elements. The plaques were beautifully packed and arrived in perfect condition.

I ordered a grave plaque for my wife. I specified the exact words and the option of a dog (labrador) motif, which was reproduced exactly to my spec. When it arrived it was of excellent quality and finish and the wider family are thrilled with the finished product. Highly recommended.

I wanted a wooden plaque to commemorate my late parents with a motif that meant something to us all. Ben designed a beautiful engraving of them hiking- they were keen walkers- and Ben carved out trees and my dad’s cap and their rucksacks. They were holding hands with the light catching as they walked into the sun. A stunning engraving all on an oak wooden plaque. I couldn’t have wanted anything better to encapsulate them as a couple. The plaque is sturdy and a golden colour, just needs oiling every so often to preserve. Prompt and polite, friendly service. Highly recommend Ben. Something very special indeed.
