Aftercare: Product maintenance is very important. We recommend you continue to treat your product with Danish oil or similar timber treatment oil to protect the timber and stop it drying out. This will also help to prevent staining, discolouration, cracking and warping.
About Timber: Natural timber will always want to move. It’s going to expand and shrink as the temperature and humidity changes in your home and outside, rest assured it won’t change drastically. Small hairline splits may occur as your product ages, this is completely normal and is regarded as part of the timbers natural beauty. As the seasons change you may see some movement in your product, again this is completely normal.
Do not store your product outside, in a garden shed or a garage.

This was initially a special commission from one of our customers. Once we had brought his request to life it had to become one of the products in our gift range – it is so beautiful.
Handcrafted from hand-selected English Oak or North American Black Walnut, we spare no expense when it comes to this product. After selecting the finest piece of furniture-grade timber, we carve out the shape, round all the edges and smooth them until it is perfect. We then set the mirror into the perfect cut recess and make sure the two surfaces match perfectly. It is a thing of beauty.
An ideal gift for Christenings, new born babies or a loved one. A perfect, vintage style hand mirror that will be treasured for years and years to come. Also works well for Weddings and 5th wedding anniversaries.
This carved wooden hand-held mirror is available blank or can be personalised with words or letters of your choice. Up to 20 characters on the reverse side of the handle.
