Every great lounge needs a good solid centrepiece coffee table, and that’s exactly what we make here at MakeMeSomethingSpecial.

Since we’ve been manufacturing very large chopping boards and bespoke worktop savers, it was not beyond us when asked if we could make a good quality solid oak coffee table. After several ideas and drawings later we created a very unique way of building the frame which contains the chunky solid oak legs and interlocking support rails. The whole thing is extremely solid.

Constructed from beautiful Superior Grade English Oak – this coffee table is of the highest grade, each element hand-selected by us to ensure the very best quality. This luxury solid oak quality coffee table is ideal for any nice lounge or sitting room. The legs are completely solid oak and measure 100mm thick, giving them such a strong appearance. The top itself is again, completely solid oak, glued and joined using super-wide flawless staves, and measures 3.5cm thick and feature lovely chamfered edges.

In addition, you can add a lower level solid oak shelf – ideal for magazines and general living room storage. The beautiful thing about the design and construction of the shelf is it is suspended and held into position within the oak legs. There are no fixings, beading or unsightly bracing – just an elegant, simplistic, solid shelf.

Available in two standard sizes, but with everything we do, we can make these to practically any size.

We can also engrave text, a secret or personal message, poem or house name on the edges or top. Available on request.
