The timber we use to create these wooden Mother's Day gifts is of the highest quality. We use American Hardwoods, sourced from sustainably-managed Amish sawmills right here in Surrey with every gift we make.

Each piece of timber is hand-selected for its beauty, ensuring the gifts we make are the highest quality, through and through.

Make your wooden Mother's Day gift extra special with a personal engraving. All of our gifts can be personalised with an engraving of your choice. You can use names, dates, quotes or jokes. Plus, many of our Mother's Day gifts have space for a special message on the underneath.

As well as having the option to engrave your gift, many come with a choice of timber. English Oak is a stunning, bright timber which is considered a more classic appearance. American Walnut is deep and dark with a sense of modern luxury. Both timbers are stunning and perfectly seasoned and treated to last a lifetime.

My husband had been looking at different boards for quite some time and never quite found exactly what he wanted until we found MMSS. I have been looking for a large carving board with channels and a well to catch the meat juices for ages and came across MMSS. I spoke to Ben by phone a week before Christmas and we agreed the design. I assumed delivery would be after Christmas but no Ben assured me I would be carving the turkey on it this year. True to his word the board arrived on Christmas Eve. Ben also suggested an upgrade to dark walnut which I'm really pleased with. The board is exactly as I wanted it and looks stunning the finish is superb. I thought it may look slightly worse for wear after battling with the Turkey but once washed which was easy and re-oiled the board looks as good as the day it arrived. So thank you for great service and a fantastic product.
