Finish: Superior Danish Oil or Diamond Coating
Aftercare: Product maintenance is very important. If you have chosen Danish oil we recommend you continue to treat your product with Danish oil or similar timber treatment oil to protect the timber and stop it drying out. This will also help to prevent staining, discolouration, cracking and warping.
Dimond Coating – If you have chosen Dimond Coating we would recommend you treat your product once a year to keep your product well maintained. Top up kits can be purchased on our website or over the phone.
About Timber: Natural timber is always want to move. It’s going to expand and shrink as the temperature and humidity changes in your home and outside, rest assured it won’t change drastically. Small hairline splits may occur as your product ages, this is completely normal and is regarded as part of the timbers natural beauty. As the seasons change you may see some movement in your product, again this is completely normal.

Each of our personalised wooden butler’s trays is handcrafted from the finest hand-picked solid English Oak or American Black Walnut to ensure the highest quality. All of our butler trays are handmade to order and finished to perfection in our Surrey Hills workshop. They are thick and durable and feature beautiful dovetail joints in the corners of the tray. These solid oak trays are extremely hardwearing and built to last.
You can add a handmade wooden stand to create a beautiful as well as a personal lamp table or side table.
Our wooden butler’s trays come finished with Liberon Superior Danish oil as standard but you can choose to have our low maintenance Diamond-Coating finish for maximum protection.
Our butler’s Trays are available blank, with standard engraving or can be personalised with choice of words or lettering. You can also add carved symbols like hearts, stars and other engraved motifs like zodiac signs. Take a look at the options available to you – Engraving options
