We have been making engraved wooden wall plaques for many years. We have taken on a huge amount of special commissions from all over the world. Making our Honours Boards:

All of our engraved oak honours boards are of the finest quality and unlike anything you’ll find elsewhere on the market. Each one is handcrafted from our locally sourced solid Superior Grade English Oak, from scratch, to order, in our Hampshire workshop. A very important feature about our wooden honours boards is that they are made completely from solid hardwood timbers in order for us to carve the lettering. Our honours board are completely solid timber throughout, no MDF or manmade materials are used. The plaque board themselves are thick, durable and will last for many many years to come. Engraving:

Unlike other honours boards you have probably seen, that have stencilled stick on lettering or painted lettering, our oak honours boards feature beautiful carved, engraved lettering that will never fade or come off. It is there forever. From here you can have the lettering paint filled or simply left engraved, whichever you prefer. All of our boards are finished in Superior Grade Danish oil included in the price which brings out the natural colour of the timber and naturally darkens the carved lettering.

Carved Motifs & Logos:

As well as engraved lettering, we can also carve emblems or logos, special fonts, motifs and crests to order. These will be 3D deep carvings. If you would prefer your logo or crest in coloured stencils, we can have these made. All we need is the artwork and we will do the rest.

Finish:

Our honours boards are all completely hand sanded and finished in Superior Grade Danish Oil or you can choose to have our harder wearing Diamond Coating for outside use.

Wall Fittings:

All honours boards can be fitted with our invisible screw head fixings on the back, so there will be no screws or fittings on show once it’s up.
