Our personalised wooden carving boards are seriously heavy duty and feature draining grooves for collecting the meat juices. We currently make two styles and are available in a variety of timbers and come with or without personalised engraving of your choice.

What you see here is our Large carving board in solid American Black Walnut and our carving board with poring spout in American White Oak. These timber as well as our North American Cherry and Black Rock Maple come from the heart of the North Appalachian Region of New England and our managed and harvested by the Amish and are nothing but extremely beautiful. We wanted to show you the difference between the two stunning meat boards close up, to compare and also to give you a better idea of what might suit your style of cooking and table carving.

What we mean is, some people like to collect their meat juices and spoon them from the board’s well or collecting bowl into their gravy pan. This being the case, you will want to go for our Large Carving board with running grooves in the centre.

The other is for the cook or chef who would rather get the meat juices all at once. For this operation we would recommend our carving board with poring spout. This carving board has a corner well and features a small spout making it easy to lift and pour directly from the board into the pan.
