All our marbles are 20mm in diameter and fit our boards perfectly. Make sure you read up about the different stones, some are birth stone representing Zodiac signs, some are even referred to as good luck stone or are known to have healing properties.

We also include a quality handmade soft leather drawstring pouch for storing your marbles in.

How to play marble solitaire

To set up the game, place marbles in all of the holes beside the centre. From there, you must lift a marble over another and place it in an empty hole. You then remove the marble that was jumped over. The aim of the game is simple: eliminate all marbles but 1. Good luck!

Wooden Solitaire Board Personalisation:

Our personalised wooden Solitaire boards are available with or without personalised engraved lettering. If you want to include engraved lettering, you can add up to 20 characters around the edge of the board, ideal for names and dates, making the board a perfect gift for friends and loved ones. Another 20 characters can be added if required around the edge if longer inscriptions, like favourite quotes or a special message. You can also add carved symbols like hearts, stars and other engraved motifs like zodiac signs. Take a look at the options available to you – Engraving options.

We can also engrave a secret or personal message for you on the underside of your wooden Solitaire board, making it that little bit extra special. Something like a reading from your wedding day, a favourite poem or quote, something witty, your family favourite recipe or just something secret you don’t want anyone else to see – but you know it there.
