This engraved wooden garden bird feeder table is fresh from our Surrey Hills workshop. Something a little different from what you have probably seen before. This is a solid oak, sturdy, long-lasting, eye-catching bird feeder for your garden.

Making our Oak Bird Feeders:

Constructed from 100% solid English Oak by hand, the feeder is made using a 1 meter long, 120mm diameter round post with a large, very thick carved round feeding tabletop. The post is a traditional beam-style post, the same as used in high quality fencing. The post is rustic in appearance meaning there will be splits and cracks along its sides.

These handmade wooden bird feeders are a real statement in your garden. They look fantastic on display simply by themselves. Perhaps with some lavender planted around the base to finish the look or amongst the flowers in a flowerbed. Our Oak bird feeders are simply stunning.

Personalise your bird feeder:

Our beautiful wooden bird feeders can be personalised with words or lettering of your choice around the edge of the feeder table – choose to have either 20 or 40 characters in total. Perfect for names, dates, a favourite poem, quote or saying. They will make wonderful wedding gifts, 5th wedding anniversary gifts, leavers gifts or for any other very special occasions.

These oak bird tables will also make wonderful garden memorials. The bird table can be engraved with a name and a date as well as a message if required. Please contact us if you need any help.

Finish:

As with everything we do here at Make Me Something Special, we have spent the time researching and sourcing the perfect materials available. Each engraved oak bird feeder is handmade from one piece of Air Dried Superior Grade English Oak. This Timber is perfectly seasoned and adjusted for outdoor conditions. You can choose to leave your board feeder untreated, finished in Superior Danish Oil or our low maintenance Diamond Coating finish. If you choose untreated your product will weather to a pale silver more quickly. Danish Oil will not only treat the timber but also bring out the timbers natural colour. This has a UV filter to protect the timber but it does require regular upkeep. 2 – 4 times a year to keep it looking its best. Diamond Coating is more glossy but a lot more harder wearing and only requires a top up once a year, however this depend on the weather and where the product is placed. We would recommend twice a year if you want full protection. Top up kits can be ordered over the phone or on our website – see here.
