However, the most flattering thing of all was that Emma Bridgewater liked our products too! After many phone calls, emails and meetings later – the Emma Bridgewater wooden range was born. Emma Bridgewater fans are going to love these beautiful luxury wooden gifts with personalised engraving in her unique font.
The oak products are all handmade from scratch by us in our Surrey Hills workshop and receives the same care and attention to detail as Make Me Something Special wooden gifts.
The Emma Bridgewater Wooden Range:
The Engraved Oak Egg Tray.
Handcrafted from solid Prime A Grade English oak, with twelve egg-shaped holes. Designed to hold all sizes of eggs.
Very elegant lettering, such a lovely way to display your free range eggs in your kitchen – of course, you don’t need quite as many as these.
The salt and pepper pinch bowls:
Similar design to the Make Me Something Special salt and pepper pot idea but was adapted to hold Emma’s pinch bowls. This is a truly stunning oak Salt & Pepper block.
I love this way of seasoning your food. At the oven or on the table. Our personalised salt & pepper bowl is one of our most popular products…..and you can see why!
This is much larger than ours, and has a very intricate carved bowl to hold Emma’s pinch bowls perfectly. What a match! The two different materials work so well together, so natural and so well finished with beautiful engraving. This is now by far the finest salt and pepper concept on the market!
The Heart shaped Chopping Board:
These kitchen boards are handmade by our skilled craftsmen using locally sourced English Oak. We use the same principles when it comes to making these stunning wooden boards as we do when making our own professional quality chopping boards, and we have a very specific way of doing it.
We select each piece of oak by hand. We look at it, we check it, and we study each piece to ensure the highest possible quality and only then does it enter our production line. Once we have cut to shape, we then hand finish them until silky smooth and seal them with many coats of child safe, heat, water and alcohol resistant oil, so they are ready to use the second you unwrap them.
We have been making wooden chopping boards for many years and supplied many professional chefs and well-known establishments.
Cut from a single piece of 4.5cm thick English Oak. These unique oversized heart-shaped cutting boards measuring 30cm long and 45cm wide, giving you a huge surface cutting area. This stunning heart chopping board was created from a sketch that Mathew, Emma’s Husband, had sent to us. It is one of those products that adds that special touch to your kitchen, set up on your worktop or on display waiting to be used on your dresser or shelf.
The Engraved Emma Bridgewater Chopping board:
If hearts just aren’t your thing in a chopping board, then Emma Bridgewater has an alternative cutting block. Each one with Emma Bridgewater’s classic text “Toast & Marmalade” engraved with precision and consistency.
This chunky rectangular personalised oak chopping board is a thing of beauty. As with the heart chopping board, this is handcrafted from a single piece of English Oak and lovingly finished until perfection, featuring carved handles and of course the striking engraved text.
As you can clearly see, we are very consistent and renowned for our high quality products and engraving skills. Emma Bridgewater and Make Me Something Special have created and produced a wooden gift range that is, as you would expect – “Something Special”
