MakeMeSomethingSpecial’s large wooden serving boards truly are something special. They’re the perfect wooden board for serving cheese, canapés or mince pies at Christmas.

When laying a table for a selection of help yourself nibbles for family gatherings or parties, a decorative wooden serving board, especially with engraved lettering, is ideal. For mini pizzas, loaves of bread or beautiful bruschettas, a wooden serving board works so much better than a dinner plate.

All of these wooden serving boards are handmade from Superior Grade English Oak to order in our Hampshire workshop. We have created a classic look with the board’s traditional size and shape and features a useful finger hole in the corner.

Personalise your wooden serving board

Our wooden serving boards are available blank or can be personalised with your choice of words or lettering. Up to 20 characters on the front face are included in the price.

You can also add carved symbols like hearts, stars and other engraved motifs like zodiac signs. Take a look at the options available to you – Engraving options.

We can also engrave a secret or personal message for you on the underside of your board, making your wooden serving board that little bit extra special. Something like a reading from your wedding day, a favourite poem or quote, something witty or just something secret you don’t want anyone else to see – but you know it’s there.

All natural food safe oil:

All of our wooden chopping boards are treated with several coats of all natural Vegan rated food safe chopping board oil. There is nothing harmful in our oils, no hardeners or solvents, no bi-products, just 100% non-toxic natural plant based oils. Meaning our chopping boards are perfectly safe to use and we would have it no other way. This does mean aftercare and regular oiling is essential to keep your chopping board protected.
