Each one is carefully put together by hand, from scratch in our Hampshire workshop using only the finest timber on the planet, namely English Oak and America Black Walnut. They are thick, durable and will last you for many many years to come. This is down to a huge amount of time spent on the construction process of each individual cheese board. All of our boards are made up from full length jointed staves, which not only gives our wooden cheese boards incredible strength and stability, but each piece of timber is colour matched, making the finished product appear as if it is made from a single piece of timber.

We then take our time repeatedly hand sanding each wooden cheese board until it is perfect, before finishing off with many coats of food-safe oil. Our personalised cheese boards are available in two thicknesses and come in two beautiful timber variations. English Oak and North American Black Walnut. These slowly grown timbers are some of the most highly prized timber in the world and sort after by many fine furniture makers.

Personalise your cheese board:

The square personalised cheese boards are available blank or can be personalised with your choice of words or lettering. Perfect for names and dates, making these a really wonderful gift. The front face is included in the price, but you can choose to add further engraved lettering on the rear face at an additional cost. If you decide to not include side handles, you also have the option of engraving all four sides of the board. The best thing is your personal inscription will never fade.

You can also add carved symbols like hearts, stars and other engraved motifs like zodiac signs. Take a look at the options available to you – Engraving options.

To personalise your cheese board even further, you can add 2 carved swirly initials on the top of your cheese board, both entwined together, making it an ideal gift for the Bride and Groom. We can also engrave a secret or personal message for you on the underside of your board, making your cheese board that little bit extra special. Something like a reading from your wedding day, a favourite poem or quote, something witty or just something secret you don’t want anyone else to see – but you know it’s there.
