Our very elegant solid oak engraved memorial leaves

You may have seen these at Green Burial sites, hanging in trees next to a grave to commemorate a loved one. We have three beautiful personalised oak memorial leaf designs to choose from, English Oak Leaf, English Beech Leaf and Canadian Maple Leaf. These are made from Superior Grade English Oak and include 100 characters of engraved lettering of your choice.

Motifs:

Carved motifs can also be added to your oak leaf. We have over 3000 carvings on file. So if you want to a carved butterfly or carved heart, this can added for an additional cost. Please look at our custom options.

Finish:

As with everything we do here at Make Me Something Special, we have spent the time researching and sourcing the perfect materials available. Each oak memorial leaf is handmade from one piece of Air Dried Superior Grade English Oak. This Timber is perfectly seasoned and adjusted for outdoor conditions. You can choose to leave your memorial leaf untreated, finished in Superior Danish Oil or our low maintenance Diamond Coating finish. If you choose untreated your product will weather to a pale silver more quickly. Danish Oil will not only treat the timber but also bring out the timbers natural colour. This has a UV filter to protect the timber but it does require regular upkeep. 2 – 4 times a year to keep it looking its best. Diamond Coating is more glossy but a lot more harder wearing and only requires a top up once a year, however this depend on the weather and where the product is placed. We would recommend twice a year if you want full protection. Top up kits can be ordered over the phone or on our website – see here.

As all our engraved wooden leaves are made to order, which makes it very easy for us to make other shape leaves or different sizes if required. We offer a completely bespoke service on all our personalised wooden memorials.

So if you need something made to a specific size or style, we can make this for you. That also includes different fonts, carved crest or logos, motifs and symbols.
