If you are familiar with this quote, then you will know it refers to Love British Food and The Telegraph are again searching for people with a passion to be crowned our 2015 Harvest Heroes.

And this is the award plaque to commemorate that special occasion.

The event will take place during or near to British Food Fortnight (September 19th – October 4th 2015).

Celebrations will take place anywhere: in neighbourhoods; in the beer garden of the local pub; in the village community hall or in a town square; on a group of allotments; sports clubs; in your children’s school; in church; or in your place of work.

The winner will receive this beautiful handmade solid English Oak wall plaque, created in our Surrey Hills Workshop by our skilled craftsmen. The oak was sourced from our local sawmill, located less than 25 miles away in West Sussex. A single piece of hand selected flawless, Premium grade oak, carved with considerable care and attention to detail and beautifully finished to perfection.

The plaque not only features the to very well known logos, but if you look close enough you will see the ‘E’ in Love British Food logo features a carved heart. Also inside both ‘OO’ in the word ‘FOOD’ there is a very delicate carving of a knife and fork.
