The sun will soon shine and that is when we all turn to our gardens. We relax and we personalise by making little improvements, planting veg and adding new flower beds or wooden benches. If this is something you are considering doing, I would definitely take a look at our personalised oak benches.
Our engraved wooden benches our very beautiful. They come in three standard sizes and feature large thick legs, braced with an optional oak heal bar and come with personalised carved engraving across the seat front. We are often asked to engrave poems and quotes, or something very touching like “GRANDDAD” or the whole family names on both sides or the most popular of all – house names.
However, if you have a tree you will love our personalised oak swings. great fun for kids and very relaxing for adults, yet they just seem to add a graceful look to the garden, especially if they are a good quality wooden swing. They work very well hanging from a frame or pergola too.
They always look so inviting, wooden tree swings are so nice to sit on compared to plastic or rubber and an old car tyre just doesn’t have the same appeal. Wood is so tactile to touch and has a natural warmth to it, you won’t find you need a cushion it just feels very cozy.
You can’t beat English Oak when making tree swings, it has a beautiful natural golden colour and hand crafting and finishing this timber to complete perfection is such an enjoyable process. We finish all of our oak swings to 1000 grit sand paper, which if you know your paper grit, this is the finest you can go. It leaves our wood swings so unbelievably smooth and silky. On top of this, we also use synthetic hemp rope which is also very soft to hold compared to other ropes such as Manilla rope. It is much better quality and a more expensive rope to buy and because it is synthetic it won’t rot or shrink.
Even our children’s swings are made to the same high standard. Featuring the same high quality marine rope and personalised engraving, these beautiful little rope swings make the best Christening gifts and birthday presents.

Our engraving is cut to such precision, we use a combination of machine and hand engraving which makes each letter so clear It looks as if it has been stenciled. The great thing about using this technique is not only do you get such an accurate cut letter every time but you also get that high quality finish of a hand carved letter. Best of both worlds.
