I ordered a massive live edge chopping board from Make Me Something Special which arrived today. My husband had been looking at different boards for quite some time and never quite found exactly what he wanted until we found MMSS. I phoned to discuss my requirements with Ben and he was very knowledgeable and helpful when ordering. The board is absolutely stunning, it adds that finishing touch to our new kitchen. I have been looking for a large carving board with channels and a well to catch the meat juices for ages and came across MMSS. I spoke to Ben by phone a week before Christmas and we agreed the design. I assumed delivery would be after Christmas but no Ben assured me I would be carving the turkey on it this year. True to his word the board arrived on Christmas Eve. Ben also suggested an upgrade to dark walnut which I'm really pleased with. The board is exactly as I wanted it and looks stunning the finish is superb. I thought it may look slightly worse for wear after battling with the Turkey but once washed which was easy and re-oiled the board looks as good as the day it arrived. So thank you for great service and a fantastic product.

I am so delighted with my engraved oak bench - the whole process was smooth and efficient, with impressive personal attention to detail in discussing particular aspects of the engraved motifs. I purchased a Large Live Edge Cutting Board, and despite my order being tight for time - my fault - the board arrived in good time for my wife’s birthday. She’s been lusting after one of these for ages, and she’s not disappointed. Such a fantastic piece of oak: heavy, perfectly cut, finished, and oiled. It’s a real work of art. It’ll be used every day and will be well looked after. You can just tell it’s going to last several lifetimes. On the downside - for my wallet at least - she’s already been browsing the Make Me Something Special website. I’ve been very impressed with the company. Ben made a stunning bespoke wall plaque for me from solid oak. I had a very clear idea of how I wanted it to look, and none of the design features I was asking for were easy to do, but Ben persevered with all my tweaks and changes until we got it exactly right. What I have now is an heirloom piece of the highest quality that will stay on my wall for life and be passed down. Superb.

I bought two toy boxes for my grandchildren and they arrived as promised in time for Christmas. Ben is extremely helpful and patient! Nothing is too much trouble. I wanted a different paint colour than was shown on the website and they sourced the paint for me. The boxes arrived really well packed in a crate that protected the boxes. The boxes are of a very high quality and the colour is perfect. I would not hesitate to purchase from this supplier again and would highly recommend them.
