These wooden commemorative plaques are hand-made using some of the finest timber in the world. On top of that, the timbers are treated to withstand the harshest of British weather. So you're given the peace of mind that your wooden memorial plaque will maintain its quality.
At MakeMeSomethingSpecial, we understand that when you're choosing a memorial plaque for a lost loved one, you want something beautiful, high quality and long-lasting. That why when creating our bespoke wooden memorial plaques, every element is absolutely perfect.
Whatever kind of design you prefer - we can provide. From rustic oak memorial plaques or traditional smooth edged grave markers. You even have the option to add images to your commemorative plaque - in either 2D or 3D.
These wooden memorial plaques are unlike any other plaques on the market. We use superior grade English Oak that's been sustainably sourced from Amish sawmills, grown on english soil, managed on an english historic country estate for generations, then felled and sawn less than 25 miles away from our workshop.
The oak is picked by eye for its beauty and quarter sawn, before being hand-crafted in our workshop into a beautiful plaque. We then hand-sand it repeatedly and treat it for outdoor weather conditions.
We have a selection of wooden memorial garden plaques available, all of which can be engraved however you wish. You can even add symbols and images. As well as our store selection, we can also create bespoke memorial plaques based on your unique requirements.
If you want us to create something different to what we have available, don't hesitate to give us a call on the number above to discuss it. We're happy to create bespoke memorial plaques based on the ideas you have.
Talk us through what shape you'd like your wooden memorial plaque to be made from, what style you want it to be, and what kind of engraving you'd like it to be personalised with.
We want your plaque to be absolutely perfect, so rest assured we will not disappoint.
The wooden memorial benches at Make Me Something Special are made from 100% Teak. This tropical timber is perfect for crafting a garden memorial bench due to its resistance to harsh weather. When taken care of, a wood memorial bench made from Teak is likely to last upwards of 70 years.
These wooden commemorative benches are available with a 2 seater, 3 seater or 4 seater configuration. And, can of course be personalised with an engraving of your choice.
When it comes to personalising your memorial wooden garden bench, the options are almost limitless. Personalised engraved lettering on the top rail of the bench back comes included in the price. This is perfect for names, dates, a favourite poem, quote or saying.
If you wish to personalise your memorial bench further, you can add more wording to the front panel, below the seat. There's also room to personalise each of the upright panels making up the back of the memorial bench. So talk to us directly if you'd like to personalise your commemorative bench even more.
As well as text, you can also add carved symbols such as hearts, stars and even zodiac signs. These bespoke wooden garden benches look fantastic with coordinates engraved. So if you can think of a very special place where memories were made, it's a perfect way to cherish them.
Make Me Something Special's memorial garden benches come without any finish as standard. This is due to the fact that Teak is a naturally oily timber, perfectly suited for outdoor conditions.
Your bench will fade to a pale silver colour in time if left untreated, so you do have the option to have it finished in Superior Grade Danish Oil. We also offer our Diamond-Coating finish for maximum protection.
You are also able to add fitted cushions with coloured covers to your bench. These cushions are the perfect addition to making your personalised wooden memorial bench that extra bit comfy to sit on.
