MakeMeSomethingSpecial has been making these very popular personalised wooden keepsake boxes for many years and now we have released our standard hinged lid engraved wooden box.

Handcrafted from solid oak and American Black Walnut by hand with considerable care and attention to detail, only the finest hand-selected Oak and Walnut goes into making these classic and timeless wooden keepsake boxes.

Our personalised wooden boxes are ideal as memory boxes or just as a good functional keepsake storage box for those most irreplaceable and treasured possessions. Alternatively, these beautiful dovetail boxes are perfect as jewellery boxes.

The hinges we use are very high-quality stop hinges, which are used for fine jewellery box making. The lid will open up 90 degrees and stop there. We have also carved a very simple and elegant finger-sized bowl, in-between the lid and box for opening the box with ease.

Internal Jewellery Tray:

You can add a stunning wooden internal jewellery tray to your wooden box. Ideal for cufflinks, necklaces, rings and special small keepsakes. It fits perfectly into the top of the box with a flush finish, which can be easily removed to reveal the larger storage compartment below.

This is a really lovely and useful extra that makes our handmade boxes that little bit extra special. The tray features two soft curved edge dishes.

You have the option of Personalised engraving on the top of the lid – up to 50 characters on the top of the lid, and a further 150 characters on the underside of the lid if desired.
