If you are after a very large wooden chopping board, take a look at our stunning and durable large personalised chopping boards, or as we like to call them – Prep-boards.

These boards are handmade in our workshop with the same care and attention to detail as our regular personalised wooden chopping boards. The only difference is they’re much bigger.

All of these wooden chopping boards are carefully constructed from full-length staves and come in a variety of sizes. The boards are crafted from the finest timber we can find, namely English Oak or American Black Walnut. These are the perfect chopping boards for those who have a big island or workspace in their kitchen and want no restrictions whilst preparing food. You can prepare a whole Sunday roast on one cutting board.

Custom Options:

A lipped edge can be added to the front of your chopping board on request, which grips onto your kitchen worktop, keeping your board firm in place whilst you’re cutting. An up-stand at the back of your board can also be added to hide clutter from view and also keep bottles, salt and pepper pots and other such items. Also creating a nice clean simple line. You can even choose to have surface edge grooves for catching juices when carving a large cut of beef, a leg of lamb or a Christmas turkey.

All natural food safe oil:

All of our wooden chopping boards are treated with several coats of all natural Vegan rated food safe chopping board oil. There is nothing harmful in our oils, no hardeners or solvents, no bi-products, just 100% non-toxic natural plant based oils. Meaning our chopping boards are perfectly safe to use and we would have it no other way. This does mean aftercare and regular oiling is essential to keep your chopping board protected.

Personalise your Chopping Board:

The chopping boards come with one engraved side edge included in the price, with your choice of personalised words or lettering, perfect for family names and dates. Carved symbols like hearts, stars and other engraved motifs like zodiac signs can also be engraved to make your personalised chopping board even more unique. This solid oak chopping board is guaranteed to last a lifetime.

Small Prep Board: 4.5cm x 40cm x 60cm (2” x 16” x 24”) ~ up to 30 characters per side.

Large Prep Board: 4.5cm x 60cm x 1Metre (2” x24” x 39.5”) ~ up to 50 characters per side.
